Thanks for the compliment on the bat. I will be glad to help in anyway that I can. I wish I would have known about this site long before now.

 

If and when you get a personal website up with some pictures of your handcrafted bats, let me know and will post it. We will certainly need it before summer time.

When is the new site going to be revealed, Braves?

 

I hope very, very soon. LarryD is doing a lot of the background stuff to get it going. I've seen some of the previews of it and it looked awesome. We are in the process of putting some stories in there as we speak, so my guess is it should be quick.

Larry is wanting to be a little protective right now (I certainly understand why), but I've been itching to go get this started for awhile. I can promise you one thing...it's everything we have in here but 10x better

The flooring, and I am not talking about your regular cheap carpet, will be a thick artifical turf.

They will have a learning center within the facility.
They will offer video taping (split screen) so you can compare your mechanics (hitting, pitching, fielding) along side a major leaguer.
A parent waiting room.
This organization has one goal, and that will be to help the future ball player become as good as they can possibly be.
They will not have their own teams, ex: Grand Slam, On Deck, etc. No conflict of interest here.
They plan on having show case work outs and such at the facility.
They plan on opening April 1st, 2007.
They will, and have already, gone out to schools and worked clinics.
They will be selling equipment at the facility as well.
If you like movies, you can probably get an autograph from Jeff's father-in-law, .... he was in the movie, "Analyze This". They got everything covered.

Guys, I don't want this to sound like a commercial, but I have to tell you, this is what I have been looking for. Time will tell, but you owe it to yourself and your sons to check this place out.
