    Pretty impressive summer for the Bulls.

    Led by Grant Shambley (.537 batting avg.) the Bulls finished 45-8 and were crowned JR Legion State Champs. Player stats can be found at the link above along with game results, notes (listed below), and a team picture.

    The Bulls played in 15 different parks this season.

    The Bulls .....

    won the 350 game in team history against the Cary Colts on May 17th.

    played the 450th game in team history against Oxford on May 21st.

    lost our 100th game in team history at Morehead on May 24th.

    played 17 different opponents.

    played the most games in team history (53) and won the most in team history (45).

    were 22-2 at Green Hope High, 15-5 in away games and 8-1 at neutral sites.

    were 34-7 in regular season games, 10-2 in conference games and 11-1 in tournament games.

    did not lose a series this season.

    lost consecutive games twice this season.

    had winning streaks of 17games, 9 games, & 6 games twice this summer.

    were 5-3 in one-run games and 4-0 in two-run games.

    shut out their opponent 5 times without being shut-out.

    scored 10+ runs 20 times and allowed 10 only once.

    won 16 games by the 10-run rule and did not lose by it.

    scored 20 runs against the Colts on June 29th and 30th in a DH against them that day.

    hit 21 HRs and 8 different players hit at least one.

    scored a team record 439 runs and averaged 8.5 runs per game.

    had 14 players that had 70+ plate appearances and 9 that had 100+.

    had 12 players take the mound, and 7 that threw 20 or more innings.
