Cary pitcher faces minimum

    Tuesday night Cary High went to Middle Creek for a Tri-7 Conference Game. Joe Cutler showed up for Cary with his game face one. Cutler went 8 innings in a 1-0 Cary win. It was a dominating performance because he struck out 8 and only gave up 1 hit, no walks while never allowing 3 balls to any batter, he only threw 68 pitches in 8 innings work..all while facing the minimum 24 batters. After giving up a lead off double in the fourth inning, Cutler picked off the runner at 2nd, after another middle creek batter reached on an error in the 5th, Cutler picked him off first. Going to bat to lead off the top of the eigth in a scoreless game Cutler triples, then scores the winning run on a sacrifice fly.

    Legion season will be fun, but we're not finished yet.

    Joe is one of those guys who will always be there for the optional BP's, one of the guys who will always be there early, and etc. He is a real hardworker and I wish him the best of luck in the future.
