    Maiden..........000 00 --- 0R 1H 2E 4LOB PB
    Mooresville.....170 3x ---11R 11H 0E 7LOB

*I scored the pitching effort from Mooresvilles' Senior Southpaw Von Tilley as a NO HITTER......BUT the tournament official scorer had it as a one hitter, so I'll adhere to his call. The hit in question came in the top of the 4th inning with 2 out and a Maiden runner at 1st base. A two hopper just to the 1st base side of 2nd base glanced off the heel of the 2nd basemans glove and everybody was safe. I scored it as an E4 but thats not the way the press box saw it.....Oh well, thats baseball*

All of Mondays scheduled games have been pushed back to Tuesday. Hopefully the tournament can wrap up on Wednesday.

Does anybody know the results of the St. Stephens/Bunker Hill game from Staurday night? Thanks in advance.

Mooresville won ugly on a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the 7th. The Blue Devils tried to give it away but the Bears said no thanks, you take it. I wont rag on the home plate umpire. He got plenty of that from the crowd. That kid from Bunker Hill threw a pretty good game and Mooresville gambled by starting freshman Meadows. The Blue Devils will face Alexander Central (a 13-2 Winner over Hickory earlier tonight) in the championship game on Wednesday night at 7:30.
