    Hickory Daily Record reported this morning that the game time for the Championship game is 7:00 pm at Henkle Alley Field in Newton.

    HDR reported that game time was changed due to the cancellation of the 3rd place game (Mooresville could not play due to previously scheduled game today).

    True hitman, we are fixing to head over to E. Rowan for an NPC game tonight. The rain kinda put us in a bind with the tournament, conference games and pitching and all but make no mistake about it, it would'nt have mattered one bit. You guys are the REAL DEAL! It has been a privilege to play you guys in both football and baseball these past few years. Your players and fans have shown us nothing but class and hospitality...home or away....win or lose. Good luck the rest of the way!

    Matt Payne MVP 3 homeruns 8 rbi and the win tonight
    This was the fourteenth classic and no player had ever hit more than one homerun in any classic. He also raised the total rbi record from 6 to 8.

    also in the tournament, neil johnson (catcher for achs) was hitting the ball very well... i believe he ended up with 3 doubles on the tourney... overall, the whole team hit extrememly well... great job guys and keep up the work the second half of the conference and on into the playoffs... :applause: :applause:
