This has probably been a post before. But does anyone know of anyone who gives catching lessons. We live in the Burlington area.

    Catching lessons.....

I would start with Coach 27 and see if he could put you in touch with someone. Also, see if he plans on having his boot camp this winter. If he does, then it is a must go to, will learn alot about catching tips and training.

Explore some of the area high schools and colleges. Some have camps during the year that will help. Depending on the age.

    Benji Johnson

former UNC catcher, now in the Braves organization, gives lessons in Pittsboro. Has a great set up at his house with an indoor workout area.

He just got married to the young lady he met at the college world series (you may remember that story!), so the boy needs to make some money in the off season.

Benji is a very good defensive catcher who could help your son

    PM for phone number

My son worked with Jake a few years ago when he first started catching and Jake did a good job and my son liked him. Carmine Pagano at Carolina Acceleration is also very good.

    Sticky???

Braves with the cold weather settling wonder if you could sticky a place for winter camps and training could post under one. Not sure if making one for catchers, pitchers and general positions would be better or let them stand on thier own. Just a thought.

I will state unequivically that this is the best bang for the buck out there, bar none!! Quality instruction and the opportunity to talk to Freddy!! If you pass this up, you have lost a golden opportunity!
