    Hunter Conley goes from Diamond Rat to Blue Devil

    2011 CBC Diamond Rat and Hopewell High School Junior Hunter Conley committed to Duke University on Sunday.

    Congratulations to Hunter as well as his parents Scott and Tabitha. Your hard work Hunter both on and off the field has made your dream of being a Blue Devil and playing in the ACC a reality. You earned it! We are proud of you.

    Congratulations are in order for Duke Head Coach Sean McNally and his staff. You have landed not only a quality baseball player but and exceptional student and person.

    Great steal for the HATED Blue Devils. Mikal has played against and with Hunter since they were 11 years old and i can say the Hill's are so proud of you. A wonderful ball player, but a better person. Hunter since you have committed, take a visit to the school to see a game, when u guys play us. Congrats Hunter.

    What a great fit! Hunter is a tremendous pick up for the Blue Devils. Congrats Hunter we are all proud of you.

    Hunter threw a gem against us last season and was impressive both athletically and in the way he carried himself. Outstanding player - congrats to Hunter and the Hopewell baseball program.

    congrats to Hunter and family. Hunter is a great young man on and off the field. The Blue Devils hit the jack pot with this one. Though i will always go against Duke. I will always pull for Hunter. Hunters the man!!!!!!!!!!!

    Congratulations, Hunter! I don't think you get to play baseball at Duke unless you excel on the field and in the classroom....so I say, "way to go Hunter for your on-field accomplishments and for your classroom accomplishments".
