    [FONT=&quot]Three More Members of 2012 CBC O’s Class Announce Commitments[/FONT]

    [FONT=&quot]It is an honor to announce that Jacob Midkiff (2012 CBC O's, South Pointe HS), Grayson Short (2012 CBC O’s, South Stanly HS) and John Beaver (2012 CBC O’s, Myers Park HS) have become the 17th, 18th and 19th commits of the 2012 CBC O’s Class. Jacob has committed to Presbyterian College, Grayson has committed to Louisburg College and John has committed to Lenoir Rhyne.[/FONT]

    [FONT=&quot]Jacob has been with the CBC O’s Baseball Program for 5 years and has proven to be a standout player with the 2012 class. Jacob is a 6ft 170lb P/OF that shows off a good arm (84-87) that always fills the plate up with strikes. He is also a very good line drive hitter who has an outstanding work ethic which might allow him to be a 2 way guy at the next level. Congratulations to Jacob, his parents who have been very supportive over the years, and Coach Pollock at Presbyterian.[/FONT]

    [FONT=&quot]Grayson has been with the CBC O’s Baseball Program for several years and has come a long way in his developmental process. Grayson is a 6ft 2in 185lb OF that shows off exceptional tools, an outstanding work ethic and always played the game the way it was supposed to be played. Congratulations to Grayson, his parents, and Coach McGuire at Louisburg.[/FONT]


    John has been with the CBC O’s Baseball Program for several years and has proven to be a standout pitcher with the 2012 class. His hard work and determination on the ball field as well as the classroom has helped him join Coach Paul Knight and the Lenoir Rhyne Baseball Program. He is a 6ft 3in 185lb P that shows off a good arm (82-85 mph) that always fills the plate up with strikes and very good off speed. Congratulations to John, his parents, and Coach Knight at Lenoir Rhyne.

    Terrific News....

    Congrats to Jacob and the rest of the Midkiff family. Jacob worked hard to get to the next level and that definitely needs to be celebrated. We're going to miss all those trips together from one ball field to the next with Jacob and his dad. I'm sure his sisters are also really excited to see him leave...Ha. Again, congrats Jacob and go Blue Hose!
    BTW, if your team is going to play South Pointe HS in Rock Hill, I would suggest letting Jacob's dad know what you want your walk-up music to be or I'm sure he can get something for you on his own. Too funny!
