    Looks like the last two spots in the dance were settled over the weekend. Triton and Midway are the two teams qualifying from the South Division - Triton the #1 seed and Midway as the #2.

    Midway will play Scotland County at 5:00 p.m. tonight in the first game at Midway, followed by Richmond County and Triton in the second contest, also at Midway, scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

    I'm a little confused about the seeding of the two Southwest teams though - was hoping somebody can help me out and clarify: How/Why is Scotland the #1 seed from the Southwest and Richmond #2? I had Richmond finishing at 13-1 in SW division play during the regular season and Scotland with a 12-2 division mark, according to my records.

    Richmond and Scotland split their two meetings this season, while Scotland also dropped a game to SW division member West Stanly a couple of weeks ago, giving them two losses. Either I'm wrong and don't have the correct information, or I need somebody to explain to me how 12-2 beats 13-1...

    Only the first games (5:00 p.m.) got played at each of the four sites because of weather. The other four first round games have been pushed to tomorrow with the following schedule:
