    Congrats to Destiny Covington of Central Cabarrus for being voted a FIRST TEAM ALL AMERICAN :applause: :applause: :applause: ! Teammate Stephanie Beatty was voted on to the third team :applause: :applause:. Great Job Ladies!!!!
    Good job also to Gina Allen, Allison Presnell, and Amanada Barrs on being voted Second Team in the South Region :applause: . Kinda of funny how Central had more ALL - Regional Players than All Conferece huh. Must not be any politics on that level.

    make no mistake - it is all politics. the good - like the accolades you are talking about and the bad - like the missed deserving all conference players. Some times its how plugged in coaches are, how much pub you get and how many hits and runs you can put on west charlotte. Both these girls a very good players. Congratulations to them both.

    Great job to all! Great HS softball team, maybe one of the best in the past several years. Before anyone gets all upset, Hopewell was great, Butler was great as a state champ, and so were the CC teams of Crystal years. Just simply saying CC had all the right stuff this year. RET :applause:
