    Rose 14, Independence 8

Sloppy game. Independence hit the ball very well, but mostly singles. Rose hit bombs, which was the difference in the game. Letchworth (Rose) had 2 HR, Alex White hit the wall in dead center, and Cox hit the top of the right field wall. Rose had a few other extra base hits during the game.

Independence did an excellent job using the entire field - up and down the lineup. It should be a great game tomorrow.
