Charlie Dobbins Among Guest Speakers Benefiting Miracle League

    Hot Stove League Banquet To Benefit Miracle League
    The Miracle League of Johnston County will host a Hot Stove League Banquet benefit on Saturday, January 21. Guest speakers for the event include Tony Beasley, Manager for the AAA Washington Nationals, Charlie Dobbins, member of the world renown King and His Courts and head softball coach at William Peace University, Corey Lee, former major leaguer and Japanese League Champion, Chris Archer, pitcher for the AAA Durham Bulls, and Barry Foote, the master of ceremonies, who is a 20 year veteran of the major leagues as a player and coach.

    The cost of the event is $25 per person in advance, $125 for a table of 6, or $30 per person at the door. The event takes places Jan. 21 at 7pm at the Smithfield Recreation and Aquatics Center.
