Post 262 and Mint Hill I hear are putting up some wins. Did Mint Hill slam Caldwell County 17-6? What about Pineville? Are these teams for REAL!

I'm not as familiar with the Mint Hill team, but Charlotte Post and Pineville are stocked with studs.

Caldwell is still going to be excellent and when Cody Poarch pitches he can beat anyone. That's a very young team- perhaps their youngest in a very long time. I'd get 'em now because they will get much stronger as they develop more arms.

I think Huntersville post 321 just might be for real. They are sitting at 5-0 and averaging 16 runs per game while allowing 2. Of the five games none have gone the full distance. Huntersville will have a stiff test Saturday as they will travle to take on Mint Hill.

    A few players to mention

    Hunter May
    Aaron spano
    Keith Prowse
    Kyle Himler
    Adam Vinditti
    Daniel Whitecavage
    Jip Richards
    Diego Perez
    P.J Smith
    Taron Davis

Mint Hill did beat Caldwell 17-6 and beat Shelby 19-3. They also roughed up cody poarch for 9 runs in 3 innings when they played Caldwell the first time. They play Huntersville tonight, should be a pretty good game.

Huntersville post 321 beat Mint Hill 5-2. Kyle Himler (2010 Hopewell high) hit 2 Homeruns and accounted for all the Huntersville runs (5RBIs). Himler now has 4 in this early season. North Mecks Jip Richards(Davidson) got the win on the hill for Huntersville as he would go most of 7 innings before being relieved by Ryan Ogden to finish the 7th. Starting the 8th would be North Mecks(App St) hard throwing righty Aaron Spano. To close in the 9th Hopewells(Marshall) Hunter May slammed the door for three quick outs to end the game. With great pitching from both teams there would only be 5 total hits for the game. Huntersville will host the Very talented Charlotte team on Monday. Huntersville now 6-0.:usa:

Wow...I sprinkled this magic dust on Kyle and Hunter Friday night. That stuff works!!!!!

By the way, what terrific young men those guys are. I really enjoyed getting to know them. Another side note, they are extremely excited about the team and are looking forward to their series with Charlotte and Pineville.

Huntersville post 321 on fire as they take out Mint Hill and Charlotte to move to 7-0. 12 Homeruns for the team as Keith Prowse and Diego Perez would both recieve one to their credit vs charlotte.

    Homeruns:

    Kyle Himler (Hopewell-CVCC) -4
    Keith Prowse (Hopewell-SURRY) -2
    Daniel Whitecavage (Hopewell-SURRY) -2
    Adam Vinditti (north Meck-?) -1
    Aaron Spano (north Meck-APP. ST)-1
    Diego Perez (mallard Creek-?) -1
    Jarred Fortune -1
