    tough scheduling

Congratulations to Coach Greg Simmons and his players for another state championship! That is quite an accomplishment and a tribute to the coach and the players. It seems that Coach Simmons builds a challenging schedule which test his team and makes them get better. They played a very difficult schedule with games against national power Westminister Academy in FL. and games against 4A playoff teams, such as Fort Mill, AC Flora (SC), Richmond Senior and 3A playoff teams like Ashbrook, East Gaston, AL Brown, and Piedmont. While they lost some games it still prepares the team and challenges them to get better. Again congratulations on a great seaon, good luck to the seniors and good luck next year as they go for four in a row.

    Congrats

Congrats to Griffin McGuirt and the rest of his team. He was a fine player during his days at MHAA and he seems to be continuing onward and upward. Look forward to seeing him and some of his teammates play this summer.

Thanks Indy Dad. We still follow Griff's buddies at Indy closely. Not surprised for a moment by the success your team is having. As a unit your guys have played more innings together than anyone in the state. They don't rattle, they just keep coming at you. Its always been that way with your boys. Best of luck in your run through the 4A playoffs.
