Leah Quant verbally committed to Head Coach Jimmy Martin of Limestone College yesterday afternoon. Leah has had several schools pursuing her on the recruiting trail over the last year and ultimately made her final decision to become a Saint in 2009.

Leah has been a Cobra her entire travel softball career & is also the main hurler for Providence HS. Beyond her success on the softball field, she has maintained over a 4.0 GPA while being involved in numerous extracurricular and service activities.

The Charlotte Cobras 18U ASA-A & Providence HS Softball Program are very proud of Leah and her accomplishments. We wish her continued success in her senior year! Congratulations David & Kim Quant & to the entire Quant clan!

I don't know Leah, but it says a lot about a young lady that sticks with the same travel ball team her entire travel ball career. Limestone has a committed young lady. Congratulations!

Congrats Leah. You are going to a good school that plays in a pretty tough conference.

Great weekend. Threw pretty well last night and spot on today! Just wanted to give these two one last bump in case their announcement got missed. Threw a great game today. Gave up two hits in 6 innings that were bloopers fisted behind the 6/7 hole. Many K's!
