The game was indeed moved to Cherryville. Charlotte wins the series with a 6-3 victory tonight (and this morning). Gant Bowman gets the win, Paul Dover gets the save, Rob Wilson hits a two run home run to get things going for Charlotte. Gaston starter Josh Duncan took a tough loss for the Braves.

Does the Charlotte Post win over the Gaston Post mean that the Charlotte Post and the Pineville Post will now play off in the next best out of 7 round series of Legion baseball play-off play and, if so, what date will the fireworks begin?

Southloop, yes Charlotte plays Pineville starting tonight at South Mecklenburg High School. Game time is 7:00 PM. It is a best of 7 series, alternating between South Meck and Myers Park.
