    "Charlotte Observer" Baseball "Coverage"

    The day after the two Southwestern 4A teams with the best conference records (Myers Park and Providence) played their second game of the season, the "Charlotte Observer" failed to mention it. Instead, the lead article, such as it was, reported South Meck's blowout of Waddell. Go figure!

    Way to be on your toes, guys!

    I'm getting rid of my observer next time it rolls around due to their lack of baseball coverage.

    Update: Olympic is still in the hunt at 5-4 with a close win over Butler yesterday. And Myers Park moved to 9-1 with their make-up game win over Garinger.

    BTW: Nice private school lacrosse story in the Observer today. Maybe we could get some coverage if we let our guys start hitting each other with their bats.

    Observer = A JOKE

    Once again the south meck observer does a horrible job on high school baseball coverage. I bet they won't even mention east mecks win against south tonight (east 7, south 1). AND WHERE IS THE SWEET 16??!!! The observer is a joke this year! its shameful. I saw saw a big article on the North Gaston game in the sports page today. Who cares about North Gaston!!! Why don't they get their focus off of the blind girls schools, and put it on the bigtime, stud squads! It's a shame.....

    lay off the Observor. The Sunday edition can last all week up here in the mountains.

    WHY?

    why do we even care? Everything you need or want to know shows up here anyway! The observer is about the lowest town paper I have read in all the places I have been ( that's why i don't subscribe). We complain that they don't cover baseball, but we should complain because they don't cover anything. The Observer is by far the worst sports coverage I have ever read. The Chattanooga Times has twice the pages in their sports section and the town is three times smaller.

    SO GUYS KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK HERE AND GET THE WORD OUT!! Thanks.
