    We have

used a charter in the past a couple of times. Both trips were very long trips 4 plus hours one way. In each case we had a few parents step up and foot the bill for the bus. I dont think our booster club would have done it.

Ditto. Only for longer rides and parents pay. No booster money.

We played a team last year where the parents took the charter and the kids rode a school bus.

In 05 when we went to Owen we took a charter bus both times and the school paid for it. It's policy that any trip over 2 or 3 hours must be made on a charter bus, no matter what the event (sports, academics, etc).

Orange brought a charter bus to us on Friday and it was only an hour and 45 minute drive.

Any Booster Club should not provided this for the players. If this is for parents, students and supporters booster clubs, it may look at this. If this would be a school activity. I think that the transportation would be fall to the school.:56:

We have used charter busses in playoff games for drives of over 2 hours. It beats the heck out of me driving that late at night... OUr trips to Watagua (98) and West Forsyth were via charter busses.
