    Lets all keep Chelsea Leonard and her family in our thoughts and prayers over the next few weeks. Chelsea suffered a possible ACL tear this past week and her senior season at Central Davidson may be out of the question. If anyone has heard anything more please post an update. This is a great kid and I can only wish her the best of luck with this injury. This will be a big blow to her as well as her team if this turns out to be true. :blauwoog::blauwoog::blauwoog:

    Yes, I heard this too. I've been waiting to hear it on here from someone that knows details. I hope it is not so bad. It would be a shame for her to miss her senior season.

    Hopefully just a rumor. I saw her last year at AC and was very impressed. I would hate to see her miss her senoir year. Let us know if anyone has any more info. I'm praying it's just a rumor

    She does have a torn ACL and surgery is scheduled. The extent of the damage and the outcome will be determined after her surgery.

    I really hate to hear this. Saw her last year and she was outstanding. Hopefully surgery will go well and she can get ready for college

    Get well soon!

    Chelsea is out of sight good. I hope she can recover quickly, but softball is closer to 2 months away than 4. According to the date on that article, it would be late in the season at best before she could come back. Let's just get her back 100% regardless of how long it takes!

    Yes its very bad news, but Chelsea is also a heck of a competitor. She also has very strong support with top coaches and teammates and wonderful parents. They will not let her jeopardize her future career by pushing her to return before she's ready. Her team is a good team with her or without her. If she can't return they'll just turn it up a notch and will still do OK.
