    Shelby defeats Cherryville 7-6 at Shelby last night. Cherryville committed 10 thats right 10 errors in the game and still took it to 11 innings. A break hear or there for Post 100 and it could have been a different game. Not only 10 errors they left over 10 on base thru 4 innings....... Got to play better than that tonight.......

    Sorry bout the late response. Cherryville defeated Shelby last night 10 to 3. Great pitching performance by Seth Weekly and the Cherryville bats came alive. Only committed 4 errors and they were not crucial ones in the game. Game 4 is tonight in Shelby and you can listen on Hometown Radio Network and click on 1050 a.m. or you can watch the game on line at www.whatsupshopper.com. I will try to post the links on the bottom

    So it's a Friday night game tonight at 7pm, Shelby P-82 @ Cherryville P-100, is this correct?

    Cherryville defeated Shelby 9-7 in game 5 tonight to win the series.
    The Area IV championship series starts Saturday 7-21-2012. Best 4 out of 7.
    Cherryville won to the coin toss so they will host the Gaston Braves in game 1.

    Great game tonight

    When you can't make it to Sumter....Cherryville vs Shelby is a good substitute. Hastings with the win. Nice battle on both sides. Great legion atmosphere. Full bleachers. Good people on both sides. Hard working, patriotic. Took 3 boys. Good times.

    Got me dreaming about that Shelby orange-aid and icecream. World series....I'm ready.

    The Gaston Braves play at South Point High School.
    Cherryville plays at Buck Fraley Field just off Hwy 150.

    Cherryville takes a 2 to 1 series lead over Gaston last night riding the arm of Seth Weekly. Weekly pitched 8 2/3 innings and pitched his way out of some pretty tight jams. Game 4 is tonight at South Point High School
