    I just wanted to give props to Chesla Miller of the Catawba Valley Storm 16u White. Chesla hit a grandslam homerun vs the SC Jets at Winthrop field #2. It was her 1st ever. Way to go kid! Chesla also attends South Caldwell high.:patriot:

    Great kid and great family, can't be many that work harder.
    It must have been the BP at the Dungeon last week. :smile:

    It may have been the batting that she has been working on for the past year, the young lady is a worker, and can be found several times per week taking extra batting practice, and she did this throuhgout the school year.

    I too am amazed everyday God has blessed us with this young lady. What a great kid with a positive attitude about life, adversity, going wherever the team needs her! Her dad missed the big hit, looks like Larry gets to stay home from now on....LOL:oops:

    Chesla asks for more and more batting practice every time we take the field. My arm was cramping up this weekend due to throwing so much. Now, if I can only get her to keep apologizing for hitting me with line drives.
