    First off, I wanna wish everybody a Merry Christmas. Once everybody has partaken the Egg Nog and Fruit Cake, it will be time for another Christmas tradition, and that is the Christmas Holiday Basketball Tournament. There should be soem really good action going on starting around the 26th, please post your respective teams tournament schedule here...

    Keep an eye on the 8.30 game wednesday dec. 28th, could be another battle between hickory and foard if they both win their 1st round games

    I assume you have good knowledge of the Catawba County schools...What's the latest condition of Kathryn Hester? If Newton-Conover could get her back in the lineup, they could make things interesting...

    Last I had heard is that she thought she would be OK. Now what that means is up to us to guess, but my hunch is that she will still try to play in the tournament. She'll have until the 3rd to recoup some anyhow.

    If you believe the local paper, (hickory daily liar), she twisted her knee and according to her it scared her more than it was really hurt. IMHO with or without her, newton has nothing for either hickory or foard, they are both "TEAMS", newton is a 1 or 2 person show.
