Hey guys, if anyone knows the area Christmas Tournament brackets, could they place them here. Next week is going to be a good week to put your feet up and watch basketball.

I'm supposed to be receiving the schedule for the Freedom Christmas Invitational that starts on Monday, I'll post it ASAP. There are quite a few good teams scheduled including Mt. Zion, Crest, Freedom, McDowell and others...

Somebody told me that Providence Day is in it as well. If they are in the mix then this thing is loaded, like it isn't all ready.

Do we need tickets to go see Gerald Henderson play for Episcopal on the 29th? Maybe Bob Johnson is charging 80 dollars for amenities for that to.

I can't wait until tomorrow to see Mt. Zion in action. As always, they are loaded. I did read on some scouting sites that they have a 6'11" 290 pound Center that is going to South Florida next year. Mt Zion also has one of the top five freshmen in the entire nation according to hoopscoop.com, Freedom might have to invest in new rims and backboards after this weeks action.

Millbrook, Mt. Zion and McDowell all advance in day 1 of the Freedom Christmas Invitational, not sure who won the Freedom/Waddell game.

Crest had their game in control against Millbrook through three quarters, unfortunately you have to play a full four quarters to win. Mt. Zion brought their "B" team to Morganton this year, but there were still some nasty dunks in their game against Indy. No 6-11 290 out there, but still plenty of D1 talent on the floor. McDowell finally figured out how to make free throws in the last two minutes of the game in their 3 point victory against East Chapel Hill. The McDowell/Millbrook semifinal is going to be the best game tomorrow to watch. Mt Zion should beat whoever they're playing by 30 plus.

Coaches better tell their players to have their jersey tucked in before the make their way on the floor. That is a rule that the refs are trying to stress on this year, it got a bit excessive today. I counted eight players in three games that were told to sit down because their tops were not tucked in. BTW, another rule the NCHSAA has asked the refs to enforce is the coaches box. That seemed to be ignored today from the games I watched.
