So, since the loss at Alexander Central the Rockets have played three games and have averaged 100 points while holding their opponents to 36.7 points. Interesting.

Trust me on this one...Don't get too caught up in the scores. There are a few JV teams in the Northwestern 4A that could beat Tuscola and Enka.

I believe as long as that player, who previously had the number before Tomko switched jerseys with, doesnt play, then it's OK. Normally, a player has to change into another jersey if it's available. But if Independence didnt bring any extra jerseys and (most likely was) as a last resort... this apparentely was OKed by the officials and the head coaches....anything else, he would have been disqualified from the game and that would have been a shame.

I was sitting down close to the scorer's table when all that happened, and what Warden has stated was what the ref ruled. The kid that wore 24 was not eligable to play after he switched numbers with Tomko.

Courage is FEAR, that said it's PRAYERS.
Although ACR has been playing much better since their loss at Alexander Central, I have to agree with BigDan. The beat down given to Enka was a payback for earlier this year when every player for ACR was in foul trouble and we lost at Enka, funny how things change on a neutral court with decent refs! The championship game tonight against defending 2A State Champ Pisgah will be more of a test. They have a 38 game win streak going right now.....
