Now that we are getting close to Basketball season, I'm sure there will be a few early commitments from Seniors across the state. I read in the Asheville Citizen-Times where AC Reynolds forward Brianna Worley verbally committed to UNCA. Congratulations to Brianna, if anybody know of any other players who have committed, post them here...

Alex is a good player, but with some of these signings, how in the world did Anna not go to a big school?

I've talked to a lot of people on scouting message boards who know what coaches at the D1 level look for and pretty much everybody tells me that D1 coaches recruit athleticism over skill. Go figure...

BTW, congrats to both Alex and Brianna for signing their letters of intent to play college ball next year.

Emily Lovik had the opportunity to play major D1 ball at Kansas State (Who was basically drooling over her and was sporting a Top 10 team), but she opted to stay close to home. I kinda dont blame them, but to have the ability to be 6th man or starting at a Top 10 team, that's worth the risk to be 1400 miles from home. We'll only sit back and wonder "I wonder what she could have done there".
