Club K is conducting six coach and player clinics across the country and one will be in Winston-Salem October 28-30.

The clinic will include a coaches school, a college prep seminar, a pitchers school and also hitting and fielding clinic conducted by Lovie Jung (member of the 2004 Gold Medal Olympic Softball team). There is a 16 player limit on each session with Lovie Jung (hitting in the AM, infielding in PM) so anyone interested should register ASAP.

    Other instructors/speakers include:
Cheri Kempf-owner Club K softball instructional Schools and pitching instructor
Larry Ray- Assistant Coach, University of Arizona
Scott Whitlock- Head Coach , Kennesaw Sate University
Doreen Denmon, Catching instructor, Club K
Mark Lumley- Assistant Coach Baylor University

For more information go to the Club K website and click on "Worth it Weekends" www.clubk.com or view the attachment below.

I have heard Coach Whitlock speak several times and he is one of the most entertaining and knowledgeable coaches I have had the opportunity to meet.

The college prep seminar is a "must attend" for any athlete and their families that think college softball is in their future.

Anyone interested can register early and receive a discount or you can register the day of the clinic if space is available.

    Seminar

Mac U are right, this is an awesome event. I have been twice and U truly learn a great deal from these people that make their living coaching and playing fastpitch softball. U just never can quit learning. Players and coaches if U can, it is worth the money to attend. :blah: :blah:

Worth It Weekend is truly Worth it

Worth It Weekend will be awsome. I have heard each one of the speakers numerous times. Each one of those times great knowledge was obtained. The great thing is that they are here. This will be Larry Ray's first time in North Carolina. He will bring with him the West and the best short game knowledge in the Country. As for Cheri Kempf she is the best pitching instructor in our great land. She has all the know on pitching both physically and mentally. Her school is 2nd to none. The rest of the lineup follows along with the same reputations. As for Lovi ,she is the best fielding softball player around as far as I am concerned. To get to see her and work with her is an awesome priviledge. Ther are several hotels in the area with a Holiday Inn Express above the facilities at North Forsyth. It is on university. So let's make this a well represented event here in the middle of our great state of North Carolina. All High School Coaches, summer Coaches, and softball Purist come and register. It will leave you asking for more of this in the future.
