    Coach Smith and I met this week at her office in Cullowhee. She is very impressive. Her positive outlook and energy will go a long way to endear her with the region's high school coaches and top players. It will be interesting to see how she pulls her first team together over the next 18 months. It's a safe bet, though, that she will be very successful.
