    I heard through the grape vine that the coach from Mcdowell last year left and went to Montreat as an assisstant. Is this true? If yes, does anyone know who the new coach is?

    Oddly enough, I had a conversation about this with someone at the basketball game tonight. The new Coach is Catrina Young (I believe). I think she was JV Coach last year. I watched her play basketball at McDowell a few years back. I'm sure the team is in good hands. She was a softball player, too.

    Anyway, the other part is true that the former Coach is now at Montreat.
