Coach Simmons gets 300

You were called by Coach Simmons to have your son play baseball at charlotte christian? I know for a fact that coach simmons would never call anybody asking them to play baseball there. True, kids do come to CCS in order to play sports. But why not? They have an amazing program, amazing new facility, and good players that have incredible work ethics. Claiming that Coach Simmons called you and asked for your son to come play at CCS is definitely not true, and if it was then He would not still be coaching at CCS. It makes me mad when people get mad and start making false claims about a program that was been winning year in and year out. Is it hard to face the fact that kids simply want to come to play at ccs because it is a honor to play there? Best of luck to Simmons and the Knights on the rest of their season.

 

Ditto...First it was "They play a private school schedule"..then when they starting beating public schools it was "they are recruiting".

In the public school re-assignment, some parents moved into the SM zone causing a burden on some of the families financially. I look at this as parents and their families wanted to go to SM vs their other options of schools...no different than parents that choose to send their kids to private schools.

Another example that goes on all the time across Charlotte are the new families to our city. If their son plays baseball they ask, "Where should we relocate?" I'm sure the same can be said for all sports in Charlotte.

I know this, if Tommy Know decided to comeback and take over the South Meck program instead of Independence, there would have been an influx of new football players at SM

Coach Simmons does not need to recruit, his program recruits itself.
