In SC, you can't conduct skills practice with more than three players at a time outside of the regulated practice season. Maybe you should move down here, then they'd fit right in!

My DD is a freshman at a AAAA school with well over 2000 students. Assuming 15 girl rosters for Varisty and JV, and knowing that there are at least 11 other freshmen who were playing on travel teams this summer, it's a pretty fair bet that all the girls who make the team will be travel ball players. Given that there only two seniors playing last year, we're at the point of just hoping she'll be one of the JV players.

    Tough spot.....

...to be in, but looks to me like your DDs opportunities are awesome with her playing with so many talented kids. I'll definitely be watching ya'lls team, that is if I find out what school we're chatting about here. This ex-coach wishes ya'll the best!

    Thanks Marlinfan.

Mauldin High School, Greenville County, SC.

Look also for Hillcrest High School: 6 miles south and with the same sort of talent pool!

    Christmas wish

Our High School (St Stephens) is the only school in Catawba County that does not have lights. This is one of the reasons we don't have a JV team anymore. They would never play more than 2 innings when we are at home. So Santa please help us out this year.

i might be able to help a little with the lights. we (hunter huss) purchased enough lights from Sims field to put up on our new softball field. it was decided somehow that we could put up new lights for the same cost as putting up old lights ????? (havent figured that one out yet) lights are functional. if you have an interest in the lights, pm me and i'll hook ya up with the AD...
