Seeing a lot of very questionable baserunning in the college games. Mostly noticed when runner is not in a force-out situation. Trying to score from 3rd on hard ground ball hit to infield. OR trying to go from 2nd to 3rd on ground ball hit to left side. What happened to "make it go through on left side" in that case?

Are they teaching more instinct now than situational baserunning? What I see is a lot of guys taking their teams out of potential scoring opportunities. And sometimes it's by guys that are not known for their speed.

I see some things happening that my HS coach back in the day would give you an ear-full upon returning to the dugout!

    "Little ball"

Not sure... but during the ncstate v Vanderbilt game I heard the announcer say "Little ball" several times. Anybody else hear this "small ball" mistake? Little ball reference kept cracking me up.

While I'm here Congrats to freshman Jordan Montgomery for a well pitched game. (LHP from Sumter HS & P-15 legion ). Nice job.

    saw that

Yes, for USC, Montgomery looks like the next Michael Roth.... maybe better.

If App St. wins today, looks like they will go to Columbia for supers.

    The coverage is great

Montgomery was good when he pitched in the legion state championship game in Florence as a HS sophomore and got the win. His mom walking around with a nervous smile. Cool to see success. His velo was never 90 but he learned pitching. Gatorade player of year. 58 pitch complete game vs Byrnes to win 4a title. Great potential there.

Teamate, Tyler Smith from USC-Sumter committed to Tennesse could be a nice draft pick and a player to watch. Tyler Broome also playing in Valley league this summer. And of course Matt Price (usc) and Matt Talley (drafted by braves). Phillip and Jacob Watcher (twins) are in their footsteps as HS sophomores. Its why I'm a fan.

"little ball" comment was funny but the coverage has been great. Hope it continues.
