    SDS, thanks for the welcome. I heard about this board from Enkajet04 who already subscribes.

    With the rain gone we're heading to Johnson City to watch oldest daughter in the Milligan Tournament then Saturday to Pigeon Forge to watch youngest daughter play in a USSSA tourney.

    I hope to see a few WNC's at Winged Deer Park!!!!!!!!!:cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool:

    Belmont Abbey defeated Lees-McRae 3-0, Amanda Becktlay WP

    Belmont Abbey defeated Catawba 4-3 in game two of the day, Kerri Blackwelder was the winning pitcher.

    The Abbey will play Wingate at 1:30pm and St Andrews at 4:00pm to complete the round robin tourney. Wingate/Abbey are both 2-0 in the tourney!

    And NC STATE defeat Texas Tech 49-21!!!!!!! GO PACK!!!!!!

    did anyone get any scores from the Lenoir-Rhyne tourn.
    The thread disappeared concerning this so I will try here.
    LR was suppose to play central cabarrus hs, lady cardinals, and another team was suppose to be there but not playing LR.
    Any scores or details appreciated.

    This was deleted by the Poster not the moderators,,,,,,,,,,,,and havent heard any results!

    But some college scores from WIngate:

    Belmont Abbey defeated St Andrews 2-0, Emily Arthur pitched well thru 5 innings with Amanda Bretchel finishing the next 6 batters in relief.

    The Abbey beat UNC-P 2-0 in the 4pm game 2-0, Keri Blackwelder pitched another outstanding game!

    Jennifer Van Gundy lead the offense along with Kelly Schafer(North Gaston product).

    The team was 4-0 this weekend and will play in the Winthrop Tournament next Saturday and Sunday.

    Coker defeated Catawba in an early game 2-0.

    Queens defeated Lees McRae in the early game on Sunday (no score) and Queens lead Catawba 4-1 after 5 innings in the late game and we lefttttttttt.......sorry but 2 hour drive plus dinner time!:D

    Great weekend plus a Wolfpack win in Football...........great for tailgating!
