College player playing travel ball

    Does anybody know what the rule is for college players who want to play travel ball during the summer?

    There is no rules preventing college students from playing TB, they just have to play within their age classification as any other play does.

    HOWEVER, this year I have run across several showcases that state quite clearly that "no college students will be permitted to field...a team fielding college players will be disqualified."

    ASA Gold and Premier

    Neither ASA's Gold classification nor Premier Girls Fastpitch's High School classification allow D1, 2 or 3 college players, regardless of the age qualification. JUCOs are allowed.
