    I thought it might be kind of fun to start a list of current college baseball players broken down by the conference & high school they attended.
    It could go something like this;
    Conference
    High School/classification
    College/Player name/position/class
    Division

    All players from the same HS would be divided into DI,DII,DIII,NAIA,JUCO. Current pros could be included as well to see how many players from a specific school are still playing at the next level.
    Any bets on which school has the most ?

    Chad Nance and Joey Cress played at West Charlotte for one year, maybe, then transferred to Vance when it opened, where they played their last two years. Has Luke Mayes transferred to Montreat? I know he wasn't there as a freshman, but not sure about last year. I don't think he was. Thought he decided not to play ball beyond high school and went to NC State.

    Looks like Hopewell and Watauga are the leaders in the clubhouse with 6 apiece, but the heavy hitters are still on the course.
    The NW4A has been updated, but I know there are more. LMK who I missed.
    I'd say the big kahunas like S. Meck,Rose,West Henderson,TC Robertson etc,will break double figures easy.

    Looking at the figures from the National Early signings for the 2005 class, South Meck was #1 in the Nation with 5 players signed in the early period this year and North Meck was tied for 2nd with 4 players signed early.

    That may have changed by now, but that's how it looked back in November.

    South, Providence, JH Rose, Fuquay-Varina, Hoggard may all be in double figures.
