    Put them here. Davidson was washed away yesterday and plays Gardner Webb Wednesday and then a big first conference series with Furman in Davidson this weekend.

    Don't have much in the way of details but the Cats stay undeated heading into a big weekend series with Furman.

    Southern Conference

    I had no idea that this conference is as strong as it is in baseball. So far in the young season the conference has wins over the following top programs:

    #14 GA Tech x 3 (GA Southern twice and Western)
    then #1 South Carolina (Citadel)
    #11 Miami (Elon)
    Wake Forest (App)

    Davidson Loses First SOCON game

    12-5 to Furman. Tie game heading into the eighth but Palladins broke it open with one in the eighth and six in the ninth. Furman had 19 hits in game against four Cat pitchers.

    Davidson 8 Furman 7

    A great college ballgame. Furman took the early lead but the Cats battled back to pull out the win and even the series. Davidson got excellent relief pitching today and bashed three homers including a absolute BOMB to right center by Greg Zage. Cats go for the series win tomorrow.
