College Softball in Morganton

    I just spoke with Coach Fox and he told me that Lees McRae will play at Freedom Park on Saturday and possibly Sunday. They host Mountain State University at 12:00 and 2:00. This is a great chance for local players to come out and watch some college softball.

    There is a chance that the Bobcats will play at Freedom on Sunday as well.

    Come out and watch the Lady Bobcats play in Morganton.

    Take I-40 East or West to Exit 100 (Jamestown Road), take left (if coming from West or right if coming from East). Stay on this road for about 2 miles (Will pass Jamestown Flea Market). At the red light (Intersection with 70/Independence Blvd) go straight road becomes Independence Blvd. Stay straight as you're coming up to Freedom High School.

    There are three entrances to FHS...Gate 1, which leads to the football stadium/gym....Gate 2, which leads to the front of the school....Gate 3, which leads to the teacher's parking lot/bus lot......Take Gate 3, Freedom Park is located adjacent from the teachers' parking/bus lot.
