Rangaroo, how have you been doing, Hope Erin is having a great transition to college life, which I,m sure she is. The Lady Blues will be coming to Lenoir-Rhyne. Tell Erin that Mo is looking forward to seeing her. We will see you and the wife on the 23rd.

Mars Hill College won the championship game over Walters State to take first place in the Milligan College Fall Softball Classic.

Two former Enka players(now Walters State Lady Senators) had great weekends:
Sarah Soesbee earned wins in all 3 games she pitched including her first collegiate shut-out against Milligan.
Miranda Tounzen hit her first college home run in the last game against Mars Hill.

Katie Blankenship/Enka '05 (Mars Hill) earned the win for the championship.

    Non traditional season

Team and individual records are not kept by the NCAA for play during the non traditional season. Not sure about NAIA, but stands to reason that they would not be counted.
Non traditional season is typically used for instruction and team building, prior to the traditional season.

i am be wrong but its my understanding games played in the fall are counted against the year total games allowed(not on overall Record) and like Windwill said, used for instruct, team building and evaluating.

juco, i am pretty sure can play unlimited games.

Winthrop Tournament at the end of the month should be a great one for the Fans too!

No it doesn't count-this was a tournament hosted by Milligan College.
10 college teams competed against each other and 10 high school and travel teams competed against each other. Trophies were presented to the top 2 teams.
The original post was just to pass on info about local girls at the next level for those that are interested.
