    I was there all day. Went over to Cherry Park and watched one TB game. I agree there was some great softball. Lots of close games. I also Enjoyed watching the fastpitch travel team (Ching) from Canada play.

    Lenoir-Rhyne over Gardner-Webb

    Saw Lenoir-Rhyne (D2) beat Gardner-Webb (D1) on Saturday morning in extra innings by a score of 6-3. LR's Casey Hanes is definitely a D1 caliber pitcher, and the GWU shortstop could probably play on the GWU baseball team. She made three phenomenal plays that were all ESPN highlight material, seriously. She was awesome.

    The Bears were 3-1 for the weekend with wins over GWU, Coker, and Charleston Southern, another D1 school.
