True, they know the game, but they are not HOF in "rules of the game"...of course, I'm not either.

Actually, I love Hershiser...you can learn a lot from him, but Larkin is no Harold Reynolds (in my opinion, the best in the business).

Lats nights game one of the commentators made a reference to the Oregon pitcher needed to ice down instead of using the weights to get stronger...

actually i think the pitcher was doing some Jobes exercises...
A light set of post-throwing arm circles and surgical tubing exercises (especially external rotation) . Running, arm circles and tubing exercises minimize swelling, promote better circulation and significantly improve recovery period.

    beavers

That Oreg State team is like the eveready bunny................going going going....

no really, they do a lot of little things well. Fundamentally sound. I think it's amazing to win back-to-backs.

I think I heard they are the first team ever to win the national title with a losing conference record.

Had another great season. You have to have alot of things go your way just to make it to Omaha much less the Championship series. Two years in a row playing for a National Championship is special. I know they are hurting because they failed to win their last game again this year. But they still should be proud of what they accomplished again this year. That is a great group of young men. Congrats to OSU. What they did was astounding. A losing record in their conf. Had to win 2-3 in the last regular season series against UCLA just to get an invitation. Then they go and win the whole thing again two years in a row. They just were a prime example of a team getting on a roll at the right time.

    don't know

saw a lot of jaw-ing during tonight's game. especially one time when Carigan came off the mound towards the dugout and crossed path with a OSU player or coach? what was that all about?
