Commonwealth Games Salem Va. 23U / Women's Major

    Hope everyone has a blast in Raleigh this weekend at the Cardinal Classic..

    We are headed to the Moyer Complex in Salem Va. for the Commonwealth games.

    They have it going on, as far as the women's major division...
    We are the only NC team, there is 1 from Maryland, and 9 from Va.

    11 teams.... WOW... including the the Legends and the Renegades....
    This is the future..... Summer Travel ball at the College level..

    This is the next step to help our NC girls....
    NC needs 6 teams next year!!!!!

    Great roster! Sounds like some REAL competition!!

    What's up with Virginia having 9 teams? What do they have going on?

    Sounds like maybe a Women's Minor League in the works someday?

    Great time

    My daughter played in this event a couple of years ago and had a great time. The quality of competition will vary a lot but everyone is there for the right reason . . . to have fun. No showcase pressure and the girls are way beyond caring about trophies. The best thing for her was getting to hit and play in the field . . . things she was not allowed to do on her college team.
