Concerning Masks/Helmets

    I'm looking for a helmet/ mask combo but I was told that for it to be legal in NC high school softball both the helmet and the mask have to display the NOCSAE stamp AND be made by the SAME manufacturer. Is this true? We were looking at the Rip It masks. Thanks for any help.

    if the rule hasnt changed from last year, it didnt matter if they were manuf. by two different companies, as long as they had the stamp on both. at least, this is what we went by last year.
