    Less than a month

I told you guys that when we first started it was the same people posting over and over. We were trying to do anything to draw interest to TBR. We certainly have come a long way since then...but I must admit it was fun to add a little humor to the posts.

LOL! If it's North Meck, Braves, it's not going to be Andrew...since he pitches for nearby Hopewell!!

Oh well, like the rest of us, you've got a month to get it straight!

This gives me an opportunity to ask a question prompted by the thread on field improvements. Is it true that that there's been no snow on the South Meck field since last Thursday afternoon? Rumour has it that there's a subterranean heater and vacuum system that thaws and clears the playing surface of most unnecessary water...and a huge, automated squegee to gently remove the rest. If not, there's an idea for you and Sabrefan to bring up at the next Baseball Boosters meeting!

It's great if they have a heater under the field as long as it pipes into the visitor dugout also!

Yep, you might have to wait a few weeks longer (12-13) to see Cruse pitch this year.

By the way, I hear that Gonzo's concerned about passed balls getting sucked into the vacuum. Neither one of us has ever seen that before.

Yeah, that's right! Some of the players are concerned that passed balls might not be the only ones afected by your new system!

    ooops...I can't believe I said that!! ( I'll fix that )

In response to the South Meck field, no, they do not have a heating system in the visitors dugout....and doesn't everybody have a vacuum system under their field?

Bag's did not appreciate having the snow cover his field. But he did not install a subterranean heating system......Sheeeesh, I don't know what you guys could have been thinking!!

He's installing a Dome to ensure he doesn't have that problem again.

I know what you mean Braves. It seems like it was only last month when he was a slender 5'10". Now he is what, something like 6'13". I think he must be related to Horowitz.

Prepster...didn't you know???? Braves had a sign up sheet at the last booster club meeting . It was a manual rotation by the parents to keep the field clear and dry. Hope it doesn't rain much this season.....it's so boring when you have to pull the 11 to 7 shift without the lights!
