Policy for workouts when school has been cancelled ....

The players gotta do it on their own - no coaches. Since the fields were soggy, that normally means "find someplace indoors"

Except South Meck who has a dome!!!
    and heated visitor dugout!!!!
    and underground water drainage pumps!!!

and a game tuesday with the temp in the mid-30's........:civilwar:

Someone said that Coach Greeson might want to borrow the Giant Squegee if the BagDome's retractable roof is operable.

During the spate of Ice Storms in February that was playing havoc on our scheduling, Braves submitted this one in response to a question about whether the field was playable .......

Nope...and I left my car outside

1 giant squeegee, foot operated (about 30 of them required). Perfect for baseball fields but too large for use on softball fields ... buyer is responsible for all transportation.

Item is being offered "as is" with no guarantee. Reason for sale - the Dome is being erected tomorrow. Bucket for ringing out squeegee is NOT included but is available separately. Bucket may double as a field house. Transportation is the buyers responsibility for the bucket also.

Contact South Mecklenburg H.S. in regards to this item.

Cost for squeegee: 1 Junior, .500 batting average
Cost for bucket: Free with paid squeegee. 1 Sophomore with .400 average by itself.

    Negotible

If checks is used instead of players (we are still on the reserve clause in this state), make them payable to:

    The "SKYBOXES FOR SABRES FUND"
