Concord stuns Weddington in SPC Tourney

    Updated SPC Scores

    Concord defeated Weddington 9 to 6 Monday night in the 2-7 Game of the SPC Tournament at Piedmont. Concord will now play Parkwood, Wednesday at 4:30, at Piedmont.

    Concord with the win improves to 7-13.


    In Tuesday's games Parkwood defeated Anson County 7-0, and Sun Valley defeated Robinson 5-4.


    Schedule:

    Wednesday, at Piedmont
    #7 Concord vs. #3 Parkwood- 4:30
    #4 Sun Valley vs. #1 Piedmont- 7:30

    If anybody else has any information of the SPC Tournament, please post.

    Congratulations Spiderman on your big win. Can you post any other SPC tournament final scores when you get them? There are folks interested...

    Who exactly was the winning pitcher for Concord?.... My best friend Chad Dempsey is on that team and he plays on my 14u AAU/USSSA baseball team(Carolina Clash) with me and I was just curious.........

    Junior Tripper Newsome was the winner for Concord.

    Freshmen Chad Dempsey has pitched well at times, and if he keeps progressing he will be an excellent pitcher by his senior year.
