Hickory wins the regular season conference championship and the number 1 seed in the upcoming state playoffs.

With only 2 playoff spots for the conference, next weeks conference tournament should be a dandy.

 

Waddell is still able to field a team. Coach Bennie is a good guy too. Even though they played a shortened game last night, you gotta respect a team that keeps trying until the very end. I was not there to witness it, but several reliable sources told me that Tate(8 is great) Bryant got himself another hit left-handed. I've seen him do this numerous times. I bet a lot of you out there didn't know he could switch hit. Still, I wish he could have gotten some of his momma's grace and footspeed. Then, he would be the total package.

Congrats are in order for Coach Joe Hubbard and Higgie-Baby. Joe is fun to talk to, so he gets the edge over Higgie. {He's usually too busy playing with his cute kid before the game}
