Tank, you guys played West Rowan a very good game. Come on out tonight at 6pm to watch the conclusion of our game (Kann/NW). Its a shame one of these teams will not make the playoffs, because our conference truly has 4 strong teams this year.

    Kannapolis-5 over Northwest Cabarrus-4

Kannapolis secures a state playoff spot with this big win over the Trojans, thus eliminating Mooresville. Kannapolis plays West Rowan tomorrow at 2pm for the NPC tournament championship. A Kannapolis win tomorrow moves Kannapolis to the #2 seed from the NPC,,,,,,, while a West Rowan win leaves Northwest at #2 and Kannapolis at #3 for state playoff seeding purposes.

    Go Wonders!!!

    Meca 8 Conference Tournament Championship

    North Meck 5, Independence 3
    WP: Zack Rosenbaum

Zack did a great job this week, pitching 3 innings against West Charlotte earlier this week. He came in during the top of the 4th inning and preserved the lead, pitching 4 tough innings, thus picking up the win.

Rosenbaum was named tournament MVP !!!!

    Way to go ZACK

    Ashbrook 4
    East Lincoln 2

Ashbrook takes Big South 3A Tournament and regular season crowns. East Lincoln eliminated from playoff picture. East Gaston players owe Ashbrook players a steak dinner or at least a hotdog!

NCBBallFan: I don't think SW Randolph is in the tri-county. I think the 3rd seed out of there is SE Guilford, but I could be wrong. Another place I saw had Southeastern Randolph as the third seed, but there's no such school.
