    Central Carolina 2A does. It serves as a tiebreaker for seeding purposes. It also enables the non-seeded teams to have a chance for a playoff berth. If a non-seeded team can win the tournament, they bump the lowest seeded team and go to the playoffs.

    SW4A Info from CIAA Rep...

    The #1 and #2 seeds will host the first round games at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm this Thursday. Winners will advance to the semi finals at Butler HS Friday night. Semi Final Game times are 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

    Thursday Butler will play 8 seed at 7pm at Butler. Providence will play 7 seed at 7pm at Providence. Others seeds and the site they play at will be announced tomorrow at the conference meeting.

    Winners Friday will advance to the championship game at UNCC Monday night at 7:00 pm. Anyone could end up at UNCC Monday night.

    Admission to these events is $5. A tournament champion and a Most Outstanding Player will receive awards. At UNCC, parking will be available at the upper lot above the baseball field. Handicapped access will be allowed to drop at the entry gate and then park.

    Seeding for the tournament thus far:
    1) Butler
    2) Providence
    3) Ardrey Kell
    4) Weddington
    5) South Meck
    6-7) East Meck / Meyers Park?
    8) Independence

    The conference tournament determines the #2 seed for the playoffs.
    Regular season winner gets the #1 seed.
