    North Meck 8, Hopewell 1
    Independence 7, Central Cabarrus 3

    Independence (22-2) and North Meck (22-3) remain tied in the conference now at 15-1 each. The championship game thursday at Providence will determine the #1 and #2 seeds for the Conference.

    Hopewell and Central Cabarrus remain tied in conference play at 10-6 each. They will play this week at a neutral site in order to determine which team will be the #3 seed out of the Meca-8

    Apex is in the Tri-7 4A Conference Tournament Championship game... not sure who they are playing. I know Fuquay blistered Western Harnett Monday night in the first round. Fuquay played either Lee County or Middle Creek in the 2nd Round, and I am not sure who won that one.

    Brian Pollard pitched 4 innings for Apex in Tuesday nights win over #1 Green Hope High School and Tim Federowicz came into relief to pick up the win. Matt Mangini got the win Monday night against Cary. Federowicz also picked up a save Monday night against Cary.

    Alan DeRatt pitched a complete game for Green Hope.

    West Forsyth 6, Davie County 2

    West Forsyth and North Davidson will play for the conference championship at Davie County tonight

    Ledford 7, East Davidson 3

    Central Carolina 2-A semifinal. Ledford will play the winner between North Rowan and West Stokes at West Iredell in the final tonight.

    The game for the #3 seed in the MECA-8 will be scheduled at a neutral location and time yet to be determined on Friday, 5/14.
