Other game between #3 Reagan and #6 RJ Reynolds was postponed until tomorrow at 6pm.

North Davidson will play Davie at 5pm on Thursday
Winner of Reagan/RJR will play West Forsyth on Thursday following the first game.

Championship game is now on Friday night at 7pm.

All games are played at Reagan HS.

 

Big East Semi Finals

Wilson Hunt 9 Rocky Mount 4 ...RM ends season in 5th place and will miss the state playoffs for the first time that I can ever remember. Ouch.

Nash Central 8 Northern Nash 4 ...Central led 8-0 in the 6th when Northern started a furious comeback scoring 4 runs with no outs and men on 2nd and 3rd.....BANG YOUR DEAD: Central turns a triple play on the next pitch and heads to the conference final.

Saint Leading Hitters
Phillip Carroll, Dillion Spencer, Dylan Beiland and Zach Bumgarner had 2 hits each. Beiland scored 3 runs and added 2 RBI. Bumgarner and Logan Gray had 3 RBI a piece.

Hibriten Leading Hitters
AJ Watson and Cody Saunders each had 2 hits while Watson added 2 RBI.

Friday night semifinals
4:30 #2 Watauga vs. #3 Hickory
7:00 #1 South Caldwell vs. #4 St. Stephens (was that foreshadowing Braves? )

Saint also clinches the #2 3A seed for the state playoffs while Hibriten receives the #3 seed.

MS Deal

MS Deal is an all-time favorite of mine. Used to be Lenoir's SCBL team's home field. Help me out Braves, Freddy _____. Traveled there about twice a week for three straight summers. Fans used to come out and stay all day. Beautiful park. Definitely a hidden gem.
