    NW4A Championship Tonight

    AC is supposed to be hosting McDowell at 6pm. Does anyone know if this will be held at their school or a park?

    I am looking for directions or a name of the park and what city its in if it is being played there. Thanks in advance for any help!

    East Surry defeated West Wilkes Thursday to win the NW1A tournament. Score was 3 to 2. Freshman Samantha Smith hit a solo homerun in the 1st inning and Junior Kayla Boyles hit a double in the gap to score the winning two runs. Pitcher Shawn Watson threw a great game w/ 12 strikeouts. The whole team played well w/ hits from Brooke Thomas,Ashley Carter,Paige Honeycutt. Congratulations Lady Cardinals--NW1A conference and tournament CHAMPIONS!!!!! I would also like to congratulate the West Wilkes Blackhawks for a well played game..These girls are going to be tough for any team they meet in the state playoffs.. GOOD LUCK TO BOTH TEAMS!!!!!!
